They have completed nine-month training at the centre.

DGP, Intelligence, Dinkar Gupta, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the DGP said, “Professionally trained youth, joining the Punjab Police, would surely add to the better policing and increase people’s faith in the force.” The Commandant of the PRTC, Jahan Khelan, Bhupinder Singh, said the cadets had been given professional training to tackle the challenges of keeping law and order in the state.

Parents and relatives of the passing out cadets also attended the programme. The best performing cadets were honoured by the chief guest.
