Two killed in road mishap at Kathua

KATHUA: Two persons from Punjab were killed and another seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with an Army bus at the Chadwal morh on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway late on Tuesday night.

Two persons from Punjab were killed and another seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with an Army bus at the Chadwal morh on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway late on Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Jann Masti, a resident of Majitha, and Yusuf of Rampur, Bathinda, Punjab. The injured was identified as Amritpal Singh of Majitha.

According to the police, a Swift car was on its way to Jammu from Punjab when it met with an accident at the Chadwal morh. The car collided with an Army vehicle coming from the opposite side.

The police shifted all three injured to a nearby hospital where two were declared brought dead while the third one was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu.
