The protesters had gathered at Abi Guzar in the city here to protest the recent killing of civilians. Three civilians, including a girl, were killed on Saturday in Kulgam district when the Army fired at protesters.

The protesters held placards showing photographs of slain civilians and raised slogans as they attempted to march towards Lal Chowk. The protesters were, however, intercepted by police.
