Core committee of Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) dissolved its state body on Sunday as it had completed its tenure of two years. Till the selection of a new president, YRS would continue its functioning under the aegis of the core committee with Raghubir Singh as its chairman.

Addressing a press conference, Pushvinder Singh, a member of the committee, said the process of electing the new state president would be initiated by the core committee soon. Nominations for the post of president would be called from the biradari members. He appealed that those interested should contact core committee members for consideration of their name for posts of the state body.

Pushvinder reiterated the Sabha’s demands of constitution of a Rajput Welfare Board of J&K and declaration of state holiday on the eve of birth anniversary of Maharaj Hari Singh. He said their struggle in support of their demands would continue and the Sabha would leave no stone unturned to get these demands fulfilled.
