Speech therapy room for special kids opens

Anita Nain, zonal president, Army Women Welfare Association, Rising Star Corps, visited ASHA School, Satwari Cantt, on Thursday.

The school is unique and one of its kind in J&K which imparts education to special children of the armed forces and civilians. Anita Nain, during her visit, inaugurated a speech therapy room which imparts modern means of art of speaking for special children.

She visited all classrooms and appreciated the efforts of the staff for their hard work and dedication. She encouraged and motivated the special children and gave them gifts and chocolates. The kids also enjoyed the interaction.
