Cong observes 75th birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi

JAMMU:The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today observed 75th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today observed 75th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

The function was attended by several senior leaders of the PCC, functionaries of the district Congress Committee, blocks and frontal organisations.

Former minister and vice-president JKPCC Raman Bhalla presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Raman Bhalla said, “Rajiv Gandhi saw great opportunity in the IT revolution and introduced computerisation in late eighties”. Another senior Congress leader Tara Chand described Rajiv Gandhi as a visionary leader who led the nation to great achievements in various fields.

Former MP, Madan Lal Sharma also recalled the services and contributions made by the former Prime Minister.
