Advisers to hear public grievances in Jammu, Srinagar on fixed days

JAMMU:The J&K Government today modified the schedule and fixed particular days for four Advisers to the Governor to hear public grievances in Jammu and Srinagar henceforth.

The J&K Government today modified the schedule and fixed particular days for four Advisers to the Governor to hear public grievances in Jammu and Srinagar henceforth.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), K Vijay Kumar, one of the four Advisers to the Governor, will hear the public grievances at the grievance cell, Church Lane Sonwar in Srinagar on every Tuesday and at Banquet Hall, Canal Road, on every Thursday (from 10 am to 12 noon). 

Adviser KK Sharma will hear public grievances in Srinagar on every Friday and in Jammu on every Tuesday, while Adviser K Skandan will interact with public in Srinagar on every Monday and in Jammu on every Friday. 

The fourth Adviser, Farooq Khan, will meet the people in Srinagar on every Thursday and in Jammu on every Monday.  “It will not only ensure good governance but also help the government to address the genuine grievances of the people,” a GAD official said.
