JAMMU: Sleuths of the Excise Department today carried out raids in Kathua district and destroyed 70 litres of liquor and 2,700 litres of lahan.

Sleuths of the Excise Department today carried out raids in Kathua district and destroyed 70 litres of liquor and 2,700 litres of lahan.

On the directions of Excise Commissioner M Raju and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) S Amarjeet Singh, a joint team of Kathua excise range and Jammu enforcement wing comprising of ETO Mohd Rafie Naik; excise inspectors Arun Kumar, Razi Ahmad, Sushil Khajuria and Aman Sharma; sub-inspectors Amit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar and Karamat Ali; and excise guards Rajinder Singh and Hans Raj raided the Ghatti, Budhi, Sonthali and Kangdyal areas of Kathua. — OC
