To review the law and order situation and arrangements for Janmashtami, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh chaired a meeting at the Police Control Room on Thursday.

DIG Vivek Gupta briefed the IG about various arrangements being made by the police to strengthen the law and order and security grid in the backdrop of the forthcoming Janmashtami festival. He said all necessary arrangements had been made and field officers and units concerned stood briefed and sensitised. The IGP appreciated the efforts made by the police for the maintenance of law and order in Jammu division.
