Guv briefed on I-Day arrangements

Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir Baseer Khan, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Law and Order, Munir Khan and Kashmir Inspector General of Police SP Pani met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan on Monday.

The Governor was briefed on the arrangements put in place for the Independence Day celebrations by the senior civil and police officers of Kashmir division.

Munir Khan also briefed Vohra on the details of the counter-terrorist operation carried out in the Batmaloo area on Sunday morning and the enhanced surveillance in the entire city and its vicinity.
