SRINAGAR: The state has accorded consent to the extension of powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment to J&K to investigate and inquire into the fake arms licence cases.

SRINAGAR: The state has accorded consent to the extension of powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment to J&K to investigate and inquire into the fake arms licence cases. “In pursuance of Section-6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946, J&K hereby accords consent to the extension of powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment in the state to investigate and inquire into the offences and attempts, abetments and conspiracies in relation to or in connection with the offences under the Arms Act,” reads a notification of the home department.
