Jammu, November 6

The Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha(DBPS), today discussed issue about the lawyers going on strike in Jammu province and expressed that under forced circumstances, the lawyers had suspended day to day working to peacefully press their genuine demands.

The members of the DBPS said the shifting of court from Janipur complex was not in interest of either the litigants nor in the interest of advocates and judicial staff.

The sabha president, Ved Parkash Sharma, said the opinion that the road was conjusted at Janipur was misconceived, because the traffic problem was due to the mismanagement of the Traffic Department. The sabha has requested the Lt-Governor to quash the proposal of shifting the court. — TNS
