Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti laid the foundation stones of road projects valuing Rs 52 crore in Reasi today.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation of a 160-metre pre-stressed concrete bridge over Jhajjar nullah. The bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs 20 crore on the Panthal-Jhajjar road.

Mehbooba also laid the foundation stone of widening and upgrade of the road from the Katra railway station to Nangal, including the construction of 60-m RCC Bridge on the road. The project is expected to cost Rs 15 crore and is expected to be completed within a year.

She also laid the foundation stone of widening and upgrade of Panthal-Jhajjar Road.
