A civilian injured in a grenade blast in Tral area of Pulwama district succumbed to injuries, taking the death toll in the incident to three.

Mushtaq Ahmad Shiekh, who was admitted to SKIMS Hospital here since the attack on September 21, succumbed on Wednesday afternoon, a police official said.

With this, the death toll in the grenade attack on minister Naeem Akhtar in Tral has gone up to three.

The minister had escaped the attack unhurt but two people had died while 34 others were injured. PTI
