Srinagar, December 9

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started a drive to rope in youth of the Kashmir valley.

At the launch of “Yuva Jodo Abhiyan” in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district president Syed Umar Sultan asked the party workers to gear up and work towards making more youth join the party fold.

He said the BJP was committed to ‘rural development’ and urged the people to vote in favour of the party.

He also highlighted the importance of democratic institutions in the development process. He appealed to the people to take the electoral processes seriously as the exercise would ensure progress and development at the grass-roots level.
