9,000 complaints acted upon under Governor’s rule

Srinagar: Since the imposition of Governor’s rule from June 20 to August 10, the grievance cell has received 9,626 complaints of which 9,866 (including those received earlier) have been dealt with and forwarded to the quarters concerned for timely redressal.

Srinagar: Since the imposition of Governor’s rule from June 20 to August 10, the grievance cell has received 9,626 complaints of which 9,866 (including those received earlier) have been dealt with and forwarded to the quarters concerned for timely redressal. Giving this information on Saturday, an official spokesman said 357 complaints were under process. During this period, the Governor’s secretariat received 4,039 complaints of which 3,881 complaints had been dealt with and forwarded to the quarters concerned while 158 were under process. In total, during this period, 13,665 grievances were received, 13,747 (including those received earlier) have been dealt with and forwarded to the quarters concerned for timely redressal and 515 grievances were under process as on August 10.
