Four civilians were injured when Pakistan Rangers resorted to heavy shelling on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Friday.

"Four civilians were injured in the overnight Pakistan ceasefire violation in Arnia, R.S. Pura and Ramgarh sectors.

"Two houses have been damaged. 727 residents of border villages in these areas have shifted to safer locations," the police added.
