You’re someone special – a seven minute love story is about a couple who manages to get married after facing great difficulties. The film showcases deep love of a boy who ties the knot with his beloved even after knowing that she is suffering from cancer.

The movie shot in three days starts with the couple having a conversation in the suburbs with Shimla in the backdrop. The movie takes a curious turn, when cops arrive in the park and asks all couples to leave. However, this couple is not disturbed but why – that’s the suspense.

Written and directed by Anurag Anand, the Hindi short film has local Himachali artists Tanu Bhardwaj and Lokesh in the lead roles, supported by Shruti Rohta, Kamal Sharma, Nishant Kaul and Dhirender Singh Rawat. The film is produced by Sandeep Kumar and Anurag Anand.

The film by Inkingenious media and prime videos is being streamed at Amazon Prime in the US. “We have promoted more than 50 artists (actors and technical crew), mostly pass outs of the department of mass communication and journalism from the Himachal Pradesh University. There is a vast potential in students and I was impressed by their virgin talent,” says Anurag.

The upcoming projects are four short films written by Minakshi Chaudhry, which would also be aired on Amazon Prime, he adds. The earlier films include Shimla 7, a suspense thriller, Footsteps from the Hills, A Yellow bench, a horror trailer and An Interrogation Room.
