Day Star has a special place in my life. It’s a place where you learn and express your thoughts. I joined the school in Class IX and now I am in Class XII. All these years, I have gathered fond memories to cherish.
In Day Star Public School, stress is not placed on sophistication but on cultivating simplicity. The valuable practice of transforming life through education is followed. You learn and try to be practical, learn to help others, that’s what I imbibe from the teachings given here. “Give your best and aim for perfection.”
You dream, you work hard, you reach your goal. And a good education is an important stepping stone in this process. Apart from academics, Day Star has helped me to grow as a sportsman, laying emphasis on social living and character development.
Being here, as the Head Boy, I get the authority to bring changes in the life of fellow students. The changes that the students crave for are possible to achieve with the assistance of the school administration. To bring about such changes, I have a tremendous responsibility to act as a bridge between the students and the administration.
Day Star has given me a wonderful opportunity to learn as the Head Boy, to become responsible, caring, and firm and to strike a balance between my rights and duties. Though it is hard at times to take on all the responsibilities of this post, yet at the end of the day I end up learning something.
In conclusion, Day Star has given me an identity which I value and am grateful for the opportunities it has provided me as a member of the Student Council.
