A team of the local administration, led by SDM Surinder Thakur, today inspected the use of banned polybags in 75 vends and shops in the Chowgan market here.
The team challaned shopkeepers using polythene bags. It also removed roadside encroachments at different places in the town.
Vegetable and fruit vendors were directed to display the rate list every day and not to sell rotten eatables. To provide parking facility to two-wheelers, the administration also identifieda place in Chogan market. — OC
