An online complaint has been lodged on the government portal by Manoj Kumar, a resident Chanol of village, Sundernagar, on Saturday, alleging that a Dalit girl was offered urine in a drinking water bottle by two students of Government Senior Secondary School, Taleli, Sundernagar.

Both students were reportedly rusticated. The police visited the school and asked both parties to compromise. There was resentment among people of the area due to the lackadaisical approach of schools officials and the police. Principal Manbhawan Vij said the incident occurred six days ago when he was out of station. He denied that urine was put into a bottle and offered to the girl.

The two students of Class X played a mischief and filled it with water from the harvesting tank, which was pale yellow in colour and put it into the bag of the girl. On seeing the pale yellow colour of the water, she mistook it to be urine and reported the matter to the teacher.
