Traffic diversion for President’s visit on October 29

DHARAMSALA: Commuters on the Dharamsala-Pathankot, Dharamsala-Palampur and Jwalamukhi-Dharamsala routes will have to face inconvenience on October 29 in the wake of President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit to Tanda medical college for its convocation.

Commuters on the Dharamsala-Pathankot, Dharamsala-Palampur and Jwalamukhi-Dharamsala routes will have to face inconvenience on October 29 in the wake of President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit to Tanda medical college for its convocation. DIG, Kangra range, Atul Fulzele, said the road leading from the Gaggal airport to the Tanda medical college would remain blocked from 10 am to 1 pm due to VVIP security.

Vehicles going from Pathankot to Palampur would be diverted via the Chambi-Dharamsala-Palampur road. Those coming from Ranital to Dharamsala through the Ranital-Lunj-Dharamsala road. Vehicles from Palampur to Jwalamukhi would be diverted through Nagrota Bagwan, he said.— TNS
