Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today launched the Mukhya Mantri Seva Sankalp Helpline 1100 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday for the time-bound redressal of public grievances using latest technologies.

Thakur said like the Jan Manch, a project of the state government, the launch of the helpline was part of the government's effort to redress the problems and grievances of general public in a time-bound manner. “The Jan Manch has redressed over 35,000 public grievances so far and people can now dial 1100 for the same,” he said.

Thakur said the state Information Technology Department had incorporated the best practices of the helpline of three states to offer best services to people of Himachal Pradesh. People could also register their complaints online and also monitor progress, said the CM.

He said 56 departments had been involved in the helpline with the assistance of geo-mapping and geo-tagging. This would also help in making the whole procedure paperless and lessen the footfall in government offices, he said.
