The first-year students pursuing undergraduate courses in Himachal Pradesh University suffer because of the delay in results.

Though they have taken admission in the next classes, they are unable to focus on their study. Anil, Rajshri and Harish told The Tribune that they were in confusion. “The parents of the students are also concerned. Students unions are  also staging protests against the delay in results by HPU,” they said.

Suresh Kumar, president of the ABVP wing at Government Vallabh College, Mandi, said, “We urge the university to declare the results as soon as possible otherwise massive protests will be held across the state.” — TNS
