Startup Yatra to be flagged off tomorrow

SHIMLA: The state government in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India, is organising the “Startup Yatra” across the state, which will showcase the giant strides made by the “Startup India Scheme” and the Chief Minister’s Startup Scheme in the country and in the state.

The state government in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India, is organising the “Startup Yatra” across the state, which will showcase the giant strides made by the “Startup India Scheme” and the Chief Minister’s Startup Scheme in the country and in the state.

The yatra, which will be flagged off by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur from Oak Over (official residence of the Chief Minister) at Shimla on November 15, will not only encourage the youth to nurture the new startup idea but will also be organising the startup contest on the eve of grand finale to be held at the IIT, Mandi, on November 30, a spokesperson of the state government said here on Tuesday.
