Sarla takes oath as Mandi ZP chief

MANDI: Sarla Thakur of Kummi ward in Mandi district took oath as the Zila Parishad Chairperson in presence of IPH Minister Mahender Singh Thakur here on Tuesday.

Sarla Thakur of Kummi ward in Mandi district took oath as the Zila Parishad Chairperson in presence of IPH Minister Mahender Singh Thakur here on Tuesday.

Rugved Thakur, DC, administered the oath. Sarla Thakur replaced Congress-supported Champa Thakur, the daughter of former Health Minister and Senior Congress leader Kaul Singh Thakur. Last month, no-confidence motion was moved against Champa.— OC
