Panel set up to check milk adulteration

Harikesh Meena, DC, has constituted a committee to check the supply of adulterated milk and cheese in the district.  

The committee, headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, will have the Chief Medical Officer, Additional Superintendent of Police, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry, District Controller of Food and Civil Supplies and Food Safety officials as members.  

The district administration took such a step after the failures of milk samples.  — OC
