Overhauling in KCCB on cards: Chairman

UNA, AUGUST 10

Chairman of the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank (KCCB) Rajiv Bhardwaj today said the irregularities in the bank were being investigated Addressing mediapersons here, he said large-scale overhauling was being done in the bank.

The Chairman said the maximum number of cases of bad loans in the bank were from Una district. A decision was being taken on how to deal with loan defaulters.

Bhardwaj said the bank would enter its 100 years of existence soon. He said the bank began its services with a deposit of Rs 25,000 and today, it had a working capital of Rs 25,000 crore. CM Jai Ram Thakur will launch new initiatives for the customers later this month. — OC
