UNA, JUNE 16

A Jan Manch programme was organised at Chalola panchayat in the Kutlehar Assembly segment today. It was presided over by Rural Development minister Virender Kanwar. As many as 242 complaints were received at the Jan Manch and most of these were either settled on the spot, or referred to concerned departments for proper disposal. Beneficiaries were issued 34 different types of certificates. A health checkup camp was also organised which benefited 143 people.

Kanwar said Jan Manch had proved to be a great success since people were coming forward with their problems and a lot of problems were getting resolved then and there. CM Jai Ram Thakur was himself monitoring the outcome of all the programmes. A separate Jan Manch programme would be organised to cater to Settlement of Land Records.

PM Narendra Modi’s message on conserving rain water was also read out, in which he has appealed to the citizens to ensure that maximum rain water was either saved or allowed to percolate into the ground aquifer. He urged to campaign for water conservation.
