Shimla, June 10
Moderate rains occurred in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, with Paonta Sahib being the wettest in the region with 35 mm of precipitation.
Intermittent rains occurred in Shimla and surrounding areas, while the sky remained heavily overcast. The state capital and Mandi received 20 mm and 19 mm of rains, followed by Dalhousie 11 mm, Dharampur 6 mm, Dharamshala 5 mm and Kalpa 3 mm.
Maximum temperatures dropped marginally with Kalpa and Keylong both recording a high of 21.5°C, followed by Shimla 22.9°C, Solan 28°C, Dharamsala 30.2°C, Sundernagar 32.7°C, Bhuntar 35°C and Una 37.3°C.
Minimum temperatures also dropped by one or two degrees and Kalpa and
Keylong recorded a low of 12.8°C and 13°C, followed
by Manali 14.8°C, Nahan 16°C, Shimla 16.8°C, Palampur 19.5°C, Dharamsala 19.6°C, Solan 20°C, Bhuntar 20.5°C, Sundernagar 22.1°C and Una 24.7°C.
The weatherman has
predicted rain or thunderstorm in mid hills over the next six days and dry weather in higher hills from Monday to June 15. PTI
