Man dies as boulders fall over car in Solan

SOLAN: One person, identified as Krishan Negi, DGM (Land), Ambuja Cements Limited, was killed and three others were injured when the Alto car they were travelling in was hit by huge boulders from the hill above at Danoghat on National Highway-205 this evening.

One person, identified as Krishan Negi, DGM (Land), Ambuja Cements Limited, was killed and three others were injured when the Alto car they were travelling in was hit by huge boulders from the hill above at Danoghat on National Highway-205 this evening.

The injured included Krishan Negi’s mother Ram Pyari and wife Ambika and his driver Babu Ram. They were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment as they were seriously injured.

The police had to seek the help of JCB machines to rescue the occupants of the car.
