Shimla, September 14

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today thanked the Union government for providing 3197.58 square metre land (on perpetual lease) by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the construction of the state guest house at Sector 19 of Dwarka in New Delhi.

Thakur said this would benefit the people of the state, students as well as the government employees and provide them the best lodging facility in the national capital.

“The state government has vigorously taken up the issue with the authorities in an effective manner and now it will soon construct the guest house in New Delhi,” the Chief Minister said.

This was the result of consistent efforts made by the state government for expansion of government assets in different locations in order to provide facilities to the people of the state. — TNS
