Kotkhai case: Cops’ remand extended

The CBI court on Saturday extended the judicial custody of nine police officers, including Inspector General of Police Zahur Zaidi, SP DW Negi and DSP Manoj Joshi, till April 25.

All police officials, who were part of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe the rape and murder of the Kotkhai minor girl, appeared in court.

The CBI also handed over the details of the case of all nine accused in the case. They have been accused of custodial death of Suraj, one of the accused in the rape and murder case. — TNS
