NURPUR: Following a tip-off, the police have seized 98 cement bags of the government supply from a house under-construction at Bhadwal in Kamnala gram panchayat this evening.

Following a tip-off, the police have seized 98 cement bags of the government supply from a house under-construction at Bhadwal in Kamnala gram panchayat this evening.

Churu Ram, a junior engineer of the PWD, was constructing his house in the village and had stored the cement bags in the house of his neighour Sardari Lal. DSP Sahil Arora said the JE and Sardari Lal were arrested. They would be produced in the court tomorrow. — OC
