Invite tenders for Dhalli heliport: CM

Shimla, April 20

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Friday directed the Tourism Department to invite tenders for starting the construction of the Dhalli heliport. He directed officials to complete the work within a year.

Thakur also asked the Public Works Department to improve the condition of the link road to the proposed site of the heliport.

The Chief Minister visited the site and said the heliport would promote tourism in the state.

The state government was giving priority to the expansion of tourism activities, for which the basic infrastructure would be strengthened. — TNS
