Rain lashed parts of Himachal, bringing down the temperatures by a few notches. Aghar with 23-mm rain was the wettest in the state followed by Sundernagar 11 mm, Paonta Sahib 10 mm, Pachhad 9 mm, Kahu and Kasauli 7mm each, Palampur 6 mm, Jhandutta, Baldwara, Berthin and Dharampur 5 mm each, Chail, Dharamsala, Nahan and Bilaspur 4 mm each, Bharari, Dalhousie and Kufri 3 mm each.

The minimum and maximum temperatures decreased by one to two degrees. Keylong was the coldest at 3.6 degrees Celsius, while Bilapur recorded 35.1 degrees Celsius. 

The Met department has predicted rain and thundershowers at isolated places in the mid and higher hills for next two days and rain in the state from May 1. — TNS
