Fresh snow in Pangi

CHAMBA: High-altitude ranges of the Bharmour and Pangi tribal areas and the adjacent ranges of Pir Panjal mountains have been experiencing heavy snowfall since morning, reports said.

High-altitude ranges of the Bharmour and Pangi tribal areas and the adjacent ranges of Pir Panjal mountains have been experiencing heavy snowfall since morning, reports said. JCBs machines have been pressed into service to clear snow from roads.

The Chamba-Shimla highway via Jot is under a thick blanket of snow and work is in progress to restore traffic on the route. — OC
