Members of Himachal Pradesh Employees’ Confederation have alleged scam in recruitment to various government jobs through outsourcing by private contractors.

Addressing mediapersons here, Vinod Kumar, president of the confederation, said they had already submitted a memorandum to the Governor seeking a probe into the matter. He alleged that norms were not followed while making recruitments.

Sanjay Kapoor, general secretary of the body, said the recommendations of the Central Pay Commission were acceptable to all employees.

He said they had made submissions to the PM, CM and state Chief Secretary regarding implementation of Central pay scales to the state’s employees.

The employees’ union also demanded a uniform pension scheme to all retiring employees of the state government, adding that the pre-2003 pension system should be restored.
