Terming the policies of the state and the Central Government “anti-people”, the Congress has decided to hold a demonstration in Dharamsala on November 10 wherein party workers from Kangra district will participate.

HPCC general secretary Kewal Singh Pathania said a meeting was organised at the Kangra Congress MLA Pawan Kajal’s office at old Matour where the decision regarding the demonstration at Dharamsala was taken.

Pathania said the meeting was attended by delegates of the HPCC, presidents of all block committees and district committees. Pathania said MLAs Pawan Kajal and Ashish Butail, former MLAs Surinder Chaudhary, Prof Chander Kumar, Sanjay Rattan, Kishori Lal and Jagjeevan Pal besides Mayor of Dharamsala Nagar Nigam Divinder Jaggi, Jagdesh Sipaiya and Vijay Inder Karan were present. — OC
