Dharamsala gears up for Dec 27 rally

CHAMBA: More than 10,000 BJP office-bearers and workers are expected to participate in the Prime Minister’s rally scheduled to be held at Dharamsala on December 27, the BJP district president DS Thakur said here today.

More than 10,000 BJP office-bearers and workers are expected to participate in the Prime Minister’s rally scheduled to be held at Dharamsala on December 27, the BJP district president DS Thakur said here today.

Thakur said the BJP MLAs of all the Assembly constituencies of Chamba district were busy making arrangement for the party workers to reach Dharamsala for attending the PM’s rally being organised to mark the completion of one year of the BJP’s government in Himachal Pradesh.

In order to make the rally a success, Thakur said that at least 2,000 office-bearers and workers of the party from each Assembly constituency of the district would attend the rally.

Meanwhile, BJP’s state vice-president Rajeev Bhardwaj, who is also the in charge for the Kangra Lok Sabha constituency, said the party workers were enthusiastic about Prime Minister’s rally and were hopeful of making the BJP’s “Mission 2019” successful.

Bhardwaj urged workers to strengthen the party base at the booth level in their respective areas.

For making proper transportation arrangements, a large fleet of heavy and light vehicles had been requisitioned for carrying BJP workers to and from Dharamsala.
