DC inspects Mandi to Aut four-laning work

MANDI: Mandi Deputy Commissioner Rugved Thakur on Tuesday reviewed the progress of four-laning work on the Mandi- Aut route.

Mandi Deputy Commissioner Rugved Thakur on Tuesday reviewed the progress of four-laning work on the Mandi- Aut route. 

He was accompanied by the SP, senior officials of the NHAI and representatives from the Indian Institute of Technology. He inspected landslide-prone areas on the route, which included  Dyod, Hanogi, Dwada and Rance Nala.

The DC directed officials to install traffic blinkers at Dyod and Dwada for the smooth movement of traffic on Chandigarh-Manali NH-21. He ordered to set up a siren between Mandi and the Hanogi temple and appoint rescue personnel. — TNS
