The camp, which started on April 18, will continue up to May 18.

Six-foot plus Arjun counts Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc and England all rounder Ben Stokes among his role models.

Being son of little master and all-time great Sachin Tendulkar, he carries enormous weight of expectations.

HPCA spokesperson Sanjay Sharma said that it was a matter of pride that Dharamsala was hosting a National Cricket Academy camp.

He said that during the stint of Anurag Thakur as HPCA president, National Cricket Academy was proposed to be opened in Himachal Pradesh.

The BCCI had requested the state governmentto provide land for the academy.

However, the then government did not provide land. The NCA has now been set up in Bangalore and Himachal missed on an opportunity, he said adding that had the cricket academy been opened in Dharamsala it would have boosted the tourism in the area.
