Shimla, January 14

Even as the state government has arranged over 50 buses for those going to Prayagraj Ardh Kumbh Mela starting tomorrow, not many people have come forward so far.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur too is going as he is learnt to have received an invite from his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath on January 4.

Yogi Adityanath had urged Thakur to ask people to visit Prayagraj and witness the gigantic festival.

“We have arranged 50 HRTC buses to facilitate the pilgrims to Prayagraj. As of now, not many pilgrims have approached us, but if the demand rises, we will increase the number of busee,” Transport Minister Govind Thakur said. — TNS
