5 die in road accident in Shimla’s Chopal

SHIMLA: Five people died and two others were injured when the Bolero Camper vehicle they were travelling in fell into a gorge near Ranvi village in Chopal sub-division of Shimla district on Thursday afternoon.

Five people died and two others were injured when the Bolero Camper vehicle they were travelling in fell into a gorge near Ranvi village in Chopal sub-division of Shimla district on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Raju Ghazta, Sighiya Ram, Pinki Devi and Chhotu while the other deceased of Nepali origin is yet to be identified.

Two of the injured have been rushed to Nerva hospital. Police have reached the spot and investigation is under way.
