31 take part in robotics contest

Rainbow International School, Nagrota Bagwan, hosted an international robotics competition – IRC Open League, Session -10. The competition was organised by Avishkaar and Mind Grind.

This year’s theme of the league is to promote the concept of ‘Bot Olympics’ which aims to inspire the youth to design and build robots that can solve their problems.

As many as 31 teams from different schools of Shimla, Mandi, Chamba, Rohru and Rampur participated in this competition.

In the junior level, ‘Sharp Stackers’ of Rainbow World School, Bhawarna, got the first position, ‘Furious Toes’ of Rainbow International School, got the second position where as ‘Chowari Robox’ of GSSS, Chowari (Chamba), got the third position. In the middle level, ‘Winning Warriors’ of Rainbow World School bagged the first position, whereas ‘Stone Stormers ‘and ‘Rising Stars’ of Rainbow International School got second and third position. In the senior level, ‘Two-Sided Gamers’of Rainbow World School, Bhawarna, got the first position and ‘Pronoob’ of Rainbow International School second position whereas ‘Dalians 1’ of Springdale School Rampur bagged the third position.
