3 from TN killed as tempo traveller rolls into gorge in Bilaspur

SHIMLA: Three tourists from Tamil Nadu were killed while 14 others were injured when a Tempo Traveller they were travelling in rolled into a gorge at Chhodal in Swarghat area of Bilaspur district, about 120 km from here, in the wee hours of Sunday.

Three tourists from Tamil Nadu were killed while 14 others were injured when a Tempo Traveller they were travelling in rolled into a gorge at Chhodal in Swarghat area of Bilaspur district, about 120 km from here, in the wee hours of Sunday.

The overcrowded Tempo Traveller was on its way to Manali. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into a deep gorge.

Two persons, identified as Jagatri and Jai Raman, were killed on the spot while one N. Kumar succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital, police sources said. The injured persons have been rushed to a hospital at Bilaspur. The police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
