CHAMBA: Three persons were killed when the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Saru on the Chamba-Pathankot national highway, about 12 km from here, on Sunday.

Three persons were killed when the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Saru on the Chamba-Pathankot national highway, about 12 km from here, on Sunday. 

The deceased have been identified as Kamlesh Kumari (54), Vikas Kumar (25) and Rakesh Kumar (35), all residents of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Chamba Superintendent of Police Dr Monika Bhutunguru said the car was coming from Pathankot.

A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered at the Chamba police station.
