‘Top firms to invest in smart cities’

SHIMLA: The state government was committed to developing Shimla and Dharamsala smart cities with the world-class technology and investment from the best companies, said Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary while presiding over a meeting with various companies regarding Smart City Project here on Thursday.

The state government was committed to developing Shimla and Dharamsala smart cities with the world-class technology and investment from the best companies, said Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary while presiding over a meeting with various companies regarding Smart City Project here on Thursday.

She said the government would project the state to the global world as a favourite destination. Every citizen would be provided with solutions for their day-to-day problems. The matters related to the MC, local bodies and urban development would be dealt with e-platforms like computer and mobile applications, she added.

The state government would also provide information regarding urban development and take feedback through these apps. Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development, Ram Subhag Singh and Director, TCP, Dr Devender Kumar Gupta were also present on the occasion.
