Chandigarh: Senior Congress leader and former Kurukshetra MP Kailasho Saini joined the BJP in the presence of party president Subhash Barala in New Delhi on Wednesday. Saini, who has been a two-time INLD MP from Kurukshetra in 1998 and 1999, was currently vice-president of the Haryana Congress. She is an influential Saini leader in Kurukshetra district. TNS

In F’bad, 216 POs held in 10 days 

Faridabad: The police have arrested 216 Proclaimed Offenders (PO) in the district in a special pre-election drive launched to ensure free and fair Assembly poll.
