A woman was killed and 20 others were injured when a tourist bus from Rajasthan collided with a stationed truck on the Delhi-Jaipur highway near Kasola Chowk here today.

The deceased has been identified as Bhali a resident of Bhilwara. Poor visibility due to fog is stated to be the reason behind this mishap.

The bus was on its way to Haridwar from Bhilwara and the driver could not see the stationed truck due to dense fog. Bhali succumbed to injuries while being taken to the hospital. Two of the injured were referred to the PGIMS, Rohtak.

Injured tractor driver dies of cold

Sirsa: A tractor-trailer driver died near Begu village in Sirsa last night after his leg was trapped under the front wheel of his vehicle in a freak accident. He reportedly laid there all night and died of cold.

Villagers found 42-year-old Som Nath today morning. Since there were no injuries on his body, it is assumed that he died due to cold.

The villagers said Somnath cried for help, but no one listened to his cries due to night and extreme cold conditions. They informed the police, who took the body to the Sirsa General Hospital for postmortem.
